Program Description

Kean University in partnership with the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety and New Jersey State Police developed Share the Keys, a research based, data-driven orientation designed to reduce teen driver crash risks by increasing parental involvement.

Facilitator Training

Facilitator training workshops are conducted throughout the state and include a comprehensive review of relevant research materials and the unique approach taken to construct the orientation. The training includes a review of the orientation, brief introduction to research and background, group exercises and presentation of the orientation. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and training certificates are issued to those who have successfully completed the training.
